DESCRIPTION
Performance Speed (PS) Wax - 60g & 180g
Performance Speed (PS) category is the 1st category in the Pro System, crafted with high-quality base-wax materials made for recreational skiers/riders and for training purposes for the racing community.
There are 5 waxes in this category to cover all temperature ranges from -10C - +10C. These waxes should be ironed-on, scraped and brushed.
PS5 Turquoise -10°C/-18°C (14°F TO 0°F).
The PS5 is the hardest wax in the series, providing excellent performance in cold conditions thanks to its high wear resistance and low dry friction. Suitable for both alpine and cross-country skiing. Despite being designed for cold temperatures, the melting point makes it easier to apply compared to similar cold-weather waxes, without reducing glide performance. Works well on all snow types in cold conditions, from fresh to transformed and artificial snow. Recommended iron temp.: 150°C.
PS6 BLUE -4°C TO -12°C (25°F TO 10°F).
PS6 is a versatile glide wax for cold conditions, suitable for temperatures between -6°C and -12°C. It works well as a base wax for racing products, as a stand-alone racing wax, or as a base-prep wax for cold skis. PS6 offers good durability and provides excellent glide on both natural and artificial snow. Recommended iron temp.: 145°C.
PS7 VIOLET -2°C TO -8°C (28°F TO 18°F)
PS7 Violet is a versatile glide wax for cross-country skiing in typical winter conditions below freezing. Its hardness makes it easy to work with and ensures a consistent finish. Ideal for training, ski trips, and as a reliable all-round base prep wax. The recommended waxing iron speed is approx. 8–10 seconds for a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be reheated after cooling to room temperature (10 min.) for improved durability. Use a high-quality waxing iron for best results. Recommended iron temp.: 140°C. Replaces CH7X.
PS8 RED -4°C TO +4°C (25°F TO 39°F).
PS8 Red is a versatile and affordable glide wax for temperatures from -4°C to +4°C. Ideal for ski trips, training, and as a base-prep wax. Easy to melt and work with. The waxing iron speed should be approx. 8–10 seconds per skating or alpine ski. Can be reheated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. Recommended waxing iron temperature: 130°C.
PS10 YELLOW 0°C TO +10°C (32°F TO 50°F).
Glide wax for warm conditions, designed for cross-country skiing or as a base prep wax for skis. PS10 is easy to melt and convenient to work with, delivering reliable glide in temperatures from 0°C to +10°C. The recommended iron speed is approx. 8–10 seconds for a skating or alpine ski. For improved durability, the wax can be reheated after cooling to room temperature (10 min). A quality waxing iron is essential for effective melting. Recommended iron temp.: 120°C. Replaces CH10X.
